I get wanting independence but then the parents should have found someone other than her sister to help her as well.

It’s interesting to see how like a child she is herself compared to Dylan. In the grocery store, she was soo excited to greet people, she always greets them extremely kindly and knows all of their names and makes them feel so welcome (handshake). I just really feel like the actress Uzo Aduba is a phenomenal one. She portrays her sensitivity through the screen and makes you BELIEVE in her performance. She apologizes to her boss if she comes off ‘too strong’ but I genuinely feel like she is GENUINE and true. For me, crazy eyes is a very interesting character with a lot of hidden depth behind her. I truly believe that she made the show very special and different.

As a parent of 2 children with mental disorders it’s hard to watch knowing that they should have never put her in situations she couldn’t handle

I haven’t watched this show but it’s so overwhelmingly clear than prison is not where she needs to be, she needs real life help and support.maybe a curfew hahaha

This scene, and “Crazy Eyes” whole story, just break my heart. Obviously she missed every clue here and didn’t heed the poor child’s obvious fear and tragedy happens…but she can’t function on her own. Sigh. So sad.

Negligence on the sister's part. U have a right to take a break. But u are her caretaker, its your responsibility to have someone there to look out for her.

It juxtaposed two opposing images...the beautiful boy and the ugly ideology he subscribes to. The beautiful song actually is predicting their sickening attempt at a pure Aryan race. It was brilliantly placed in the movie.

her story makes me so sad. she was failed by the people who were responsible for her. thats why people turn out like this. they have autism or some other disorder and need certain help because of it, and when they dont get that help this is what happens. she should get actual genuine psychological help, therapy, meds, whatever. she did still kidnap and through negligence, kill a kid. but shes not a monster.

I never understood why the sister didn't set up a sitter for her. She maybe 28 but she's obviously got the mind of a tween. You wouldn't leave your tween alone for an extended period of time, so why would this be different? Simply having an adult to hang out with Suzanne and make sure everything is okay would have avoided that whole situation.

I haven't watched this show in a long time but I wonder why the sister was never held accountable for leaving her alone and I think it's messed up she got treated like a criminal than this being treated as a negligence case. It's not like she raped him or brutally murdered him, the kid just fell to his death and she tried to stop him from going out the window. Her intention was to stop him from leaving and she didn't understand why he wanted to go home. Dylan didn't know what to do so he couldn't come up with a white lie like "I need to call my dad to let him know I will be here all weekend" or "My dad will worry about me if I don't go home" or "I promised my dad I would be home today and I will get grounded if I am not home by dinner."

But walking off with someone else child then holding them captive... I mean I get she have a bot of a mental issue she just looking for friend to talk to play games have fun with... but in this type of world we Live in stuff like dat will get locked locked up regardless of mental issue that's probably even worse having a mental issue then walking off with another person child... cuz no one knows the person full mental issue on top of that potentially putting the child at danger them not knowing they way back pretty sure parents gone be on the search for them... then if something happen to the child the parents just say the whole family gone want justice for it.... so whether u got a mental issue or not it happen in ur hands u took on the responsibilities and actions on ur own which cause this situation to happen.... I say she probably should of went to parents first and ask permission maybe just hangout they house being supervise I'm pretty they would of been cool with that instead of the whole just walking off with the kid she could of just chilled with the whole family.... the kid didn't know better but should of been taught better not walk off with strangers even if you just know them as in seen them from time to time that's area u seen them in and only gone see them in don't walk off with people don't really know know like that
